
The Flores House is a prototype of Training Centre for Primary Health Care of CD Bethesda in Sikka regency, which proved resistant to earthquake. The 16 houses were built based on the Sikka district stage-house or a vernacular style is used to be a medium for capacity building for people organization in East Nusa Tenggara as a part of efforts to increase their independence in providing primary health care, economic capacity and disaster risk reduction. The houses were built around 1995 by Community Development of Bethesda and used by Flores community for learning aboud Disaster Risk Reduction that caused by Mount of Egon and Tsunami.
